Who we are

acd who we are

Since its establishment in 1980, ACD has empowered families of children with a disability to access the support needed to live a fulfilling life and to uphold their child’s right to reach their full potential.

ACD is the leading advocacy and information service for families of children with any type of disability living in Victoria.

We are an organisation run by and for families of children with a disability. We are committed to improving public policy and service system delivery through our education, influence and support programs.

It’s what we are passionate about because we know from personal experience how disability changes lives and affects the family as a whole.
