Parents flock to free online course on autism

Autism MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) through Swinburne University

A free online seven week course will launch on Thursday 2 April 2015  designed to provide practical help to families of children with autism spectrum disorder. Enrolments have skyrocketed to over 10,000 participants!  Offering new topics each week, the MOOC provides a pathway for choice and flexibility, based on the participant’s area of interest and will require about two hours study time per week. Content will include, videos, podcasts, and the assessment of real scenarios with participants sharing their own stories and experiences within a supportive community network.
