Video Games and their Impact on Children and Young People

Parent Information Forum on Thursday evening, 11th June – 7.30pm – 9.30pm

Steven Dupon, founder of www.videogames.org.au and Manager of YMCA Youth Services will present an information forum for parents on ‘Video Games and their Impact on Children and Young People’. At this forum, Steven will present:

• Both the positive and negative impacts of video game technology;

• How video games can be utilised as a positive contributor to a child’s development;

• How to avoid video game addiction;

• How to keep kids safe online and;

• How to deal with the inappropriate content in some video games.

Date: Thursday 11th June 2015

Times: 7.30pm-9.30pm

Where: Whitehorse Centre – Rear of 379-397 Whitehorse Road, Nunawading

A $2 gold coin donation per person is requested on the night which will be donated to a Child and Family service operating in the municipality to support their work.
