Our Parent Support Service

Every member of families of children with a disability need and deserve 'support': children themselves, siblings, parents, grandparents and other extended family. This support can take many forms.

Our Parent Support Workers, Di, Jenny and Kerry provide support by listening, understanding (they are themselves parents of children with a disability) and providing information and advice.

If you require information or advice on any issue, please do not hesitate to call our Parent Support Workers on 9818 2000 or 1800 654 013 or email mail@acd.org.au.

Our approach is oriented to helping you be your own best advocate. However, in certain situations, we will attend meetings to act as an advocate for parents/carers.
