Description:

Joint venture of Wangaratta Parent Support Group, Interchange Upper Murray and Noah's Ark Wangaratta. A co-ed sibling support program for two age groups, 9-13 years and 14-16/17 years. The program consists of 6 week support sessions for each age group. It is also anticipated that a winter and summer camp will be held where both age groups are combined but given different activities. The aim of the program is to facilitate a communal support system among the siblings through the sharing of their unique experiences and qualities, and affirming their own unique identity within the family context. A ceiling number of 10-15 siblings exists for the 6 week support sessions to maintain a productive small group environment. The program is not disability specific. Please contact Wangaratta Parent Support Group for an idea on fees.
