Description:

The 'Time Out Club' sibling group is held on the last Sunday of every month. It serves as a purely recreational time for siblings of children with any disability. Examples of Club activities include bowling, rollerskating, smorgasboard restaurants etc. The aim of the program is for siblings in a similar situation to meet, have fun, and build community. Strong parent participation is encouraged, thus ensuring parents and siblings have the opportunity to spend some special time together outside of the family context. There is no specific age range, although generally the Club comprises of siblings, co-ed, 5-13 years. Approximately, a charge of $5.00 may be required for admission to each activity.
