Tandem bicycle ($999)
Seven gear 'duo control' bicycle made in Germany (WULFHORST), this tandem (original cost $3500) is a riding pleasure for adult and child. Your child sits in front and enjoys the impressions of the surroundings. All essential functions (steering, braking, shifting gears) are performed by the adult in the back. Both handle bars are synchronised so that your child automatically copies the steering movements of the adult. Your child may join the adult’s pedalling, or pedal by themself, or rest while the adult pedals. Three breaking systems guarantee safety. Child’s pedals fitted with Velcro wrap around strips which hold feet in place. For children aged 5-15 approx.
