The Behaviour Challenge
Issues and Solutions for Children and Young Adults Exhibiting Difficult Behaviour

With support from The William Buckland Foundation, our Association has published The Behaviour Challenge: Issues and Solutions for Children and Young Adults with Difficult Behaviour.

The children discussed in The Behaviour Challenge report are a diverse group that is difficult to define. They are children who exhibit 'difficult' behaviour that is often disruptive to others (where the behaviour is not related to a diagnosis of intellectual disability or acquired brain injury).

The Behaviour Challenge report includes family case studies and 104 recommendations for improvements to assist families, covering: Schools and Student Support Services; Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS); Parenting Services; Whole of Government Co-ordination and Responding Early.
