Aids and Equipment
Equipped for Life
As part of our input to the Review Advisory Group for the Review of the Victorian Aids and Equipment Program (VAEP) undertaken by the Department of Human Services, our Association has written a consultation draft called Equipped for Life: An Aids and Equipment Action Plan for Victorian families of children and young people with a disability.
In the final document we hope to include a range of family stories and real-life perspectives from professionals and service providers.
Suggestions and other contributions from parents, family members, people with disabilities, advocacy organisations and other aids and equipment stakeholders are most welcome.
For more information about the VAEP Review Advisory Group see the DHS Disability website www.dhs.vic.gov.au/disability.
